Ryde Hunters Hill Community Transport provides transport services to residents of the Ryde and Hunters Hill local government areas who are:

  • frail and aged 65 years and over,
  • younger people with disability, and
  • carers of these people.

Community Transport services are provided by cars and mini-buses for purposes including:

  • shopping
  • personal appointments
  • social outings
  • medical appointments

If you are an Aboriginal person who has a disability, is over 50 years of age or is a carer of an Aboriginal person who is over 50 years or who has a disability, contact the Aboriginal Access and Assessment Team for information about transport and other services.

Accessible Local Public Transport

In the Ryde Hunters Hill area the mainstream public transport services available are buses, trains, ferries and taxis. Some of these services are accessible for people with limited mobility or those using wheelchairs. Contact the individual transport provider for more information.
